From June 28 to July 4th, 1999, Dion, my Brother Matthew and I went to Bimini Island in the Bahamas for a week of DIVING!!!

Here is the first round of pictures... I took 17 rolls, Dion and Matt took four each... *whew*!!!!

Of course, the hotel cat! Looks just like mine, flower!

The beach on the west side of the island

lots of little lizards

They are actually called curly-tailed lizards!

many fish among the twisted wreckage, and the sun peeking through the shallow water (10 feet!)

The large propeller

A huge school of grunts between the propeller and the rudder

Another view of the rudder

a large spotted scorpionfish, hint... the sponge on the left does not have lips!

Matthew next to the wreck

A golden moray slithering out in the open

A pair of nurse sharks sleeping under a ledge

Closer in to the nurse sharks, and you can see the sharksuckers starting to check me out!

I was trying to get closer for a better picture of both sharks.

One of the sharks woke up from the flash, and zooms right over my head!

A Queen angelfish peeks around the corner

Matthew hovers over a smooth trunkfish

A large porcupine fish during a night dive

This large porcupine fish was sleepy, so we could pet him!

A nice side view of the porcupine fish.

Dion meets the halksbill turtle!
